About the Prints

What is giclée printing? Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a professional inkjet printing process that uses fine droplets of archival-quality ink to produce prints with exceptional colour accuracy, smooth gradients, and sharp detail. It’s the standard for fine art and museum-quality reproduction work. Every print in this shop is produced using this process.

How long will my print last? The inks and materials used are archival-rated for well over 100 years under normal home display conditions — longer in low-light environments. These aren’t decorative prints that fade within a few years. I wouldn’t sell them if they were.

Are the colours accurate to what I see on my screen? Screen colour varies considerably between devices, so what you see on your monitor won’t be a perfect match to the finished print — and honestly, the prints are often better. The production process is calibrated for colour accuracy, and the paper and canvas materials add a depth and warmth that screens can’t replicate. If you’re concerned about a specific image, feel free to get in touch and I can talk you through it.

What’s the difference between canvas and paper prints? Paper prints (both framed and unframed) have a crisp, photographic quality with fine detail — they suit images with strong tonal contrast and precise line work. Canvas has a softer, more textured appearance that works beautifully with landscapes and moody, atmospheric images. Neither is better — it comes down to the image and where it’s going to hang.

Are these limited edition prints? The prints are not currently issued as limited editions. If you’re interested in knowing more about the edition status of a particular image, feel free to ask.

Who makes the prints? My prints are fulfilled through Gelato, a global print-on-demand network with production partners in 32 countries. Gelato routes each order to the facility closest to your delivery address, which means most prints are produced in the same country they’re delivered to. The production quality is consistent across their network, and I’ve been satisfied with the results. Your order arrives with my name as the sender, not Gelato’s.

Ordering

Can I order a custom size? The sizes available in the shop are the sizes I’ve approved for each image — chosen because they work well for that particular composition. I’m not currently able to offer sizes outside those options.

Can I order a print of an image that isn’t in the shop? Not at this stage. The shop contains the images I’ve made available for print sale. If you’ve seen a specific image elsewhere — on my social media or gallery work — feel free to contact me and I’ll let you know whether it’s something I can make available.

Can I change or cancel my order? Because every print is made specifically for you, production begins very soon after your order is placed. If you need to make a change, please contact me as quickly as possible — I’ll do everything I can to help, but I can’t guarantee changes once production has started.

Do you offer wholesale or trade pricing? I don’t currently offer wholesale pricing. If you’re an interior designer or stylist with an ongoing need, feel free to get in touch and we can have a conversation.

Shipping & Delivery

How long will my order take? Delivery has two parts: production time (printing and preparing your order) and shipping time. Estimated delivery dates — including both — are shown at checkout when you select your shipping method. As a general guide, standard shipping takes 2–4 business days for domestic deliveries and 4–6 business days for international once your order has been produced. Express shipping is available at checkout where offered.

How much does shipping cost? Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, the products in your order, and your chosen shipping method. You’ll see the exact cost before you confirm — no surprises added afterwards.

Do you ship internationally? Yes — to more than 200 countries worldwide. Gelato partners with over 40 carriers globally to get orders where they need to go.

Will I get tracking? Yes. Once your order is dispatched you’ll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information so you can follow it to your door.

Are there customs fees for international orders? Customs fees or import duties may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These are set by your local customs authority and are outside my control. If you’re unsure whether duties apply in your country, I’d recommend checking with your local customs office before placing your order.

Returns & Problems

What if my print arrives damaged? Please get in touch within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the damage. I’ll arrange a reprint or refund — whichever you prefer. This shouldn’t happen, but if it does, I’ll make it right.

Can I return a print if I change my mind? Because every piece is made to order specifically for you, I’m not able to accept returns for change of mind. I’d encourage you to read the product descriptions carefully and get in touch if you have any questions before purchasing — I’m happy to help you make the right decision before you buy.

Full details are on the Refund and Returns Policy page.

My order hasn’t arrived — what should I do? If your tracking shows the order as delivered but it hasn’t arrived, or if there’s been no movement on tracking for an unusually long time, please contact me and I’ll look into it.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept? Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major credit and debit cards, as well as Afterpay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Are prices in Australian dollars? Yes — all prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD). If you’re purchasing from outside Australia, your bank or payment provider will convert at their current exchange rate.

Is it safe to pay on this site? Yes. Payments are processed by WooPayments (powered by Stripe), one of the world’s largest and most trusted payment processors. Your card details are never stored on this site.

Does Afterpay work on all products? Afterpay is available for customers with an Australian billing address paying in AUD. Due to Afterpay’s cross-border restrictions, it isn’t available for international orders. The instalment amount is shown on each product page for eligible purchases.

Hanging & Care

How do I hang a canvas print? Stretched canvas prints come ready to hang — the stretcher bar frame on the back takes a standard picture hook. For larger prints, use two hooks for stability.

How do I care for my print? Keep prints out of direct sunlight where possible — even archival inks will shift over very long periods with intense UV exposure. For framed prints, avoid hanging in rooms with high humidity (bathrooms, steamy kitchens). Dust gently with a soft dry cloth if needed. Don’t use cleaning products on the print surface.

Should I frame my paper print? Unframed paper prints should be framed or mounted before hanging to protect them. A UV-filtering glass or acrylic front will give the longest-lasting result. Any professional framer will be able to advise on the best options for the size you’ve ordered.
